Hello,
Just sharing what HI N LO DESERT RUNNERS normally uses while on an outing. We most commonly use CB Radios and generally monitor channel 18 while on the trails. We carry our cells, of course, and often bring along the FRS handhelds. So far this has worked out well.
Anyway....just sharing. Let us know what you use for communications, i.e., flairs, smoke signals, whatever...LOL
